Making food samples

  • 20min
  • 1,000yen
  • Tenpura and vegetables that
look just like the real thing

Since many food samples are exhibited at the Food Culture Museum, we have developed a food sample making experience with the cooperation of a food sample company. Visitors can try their hand at making tempura and lettuce food samples.
  • Food samples that are fun for adults too

It is made by dropping wax in hot water. The trick is to handle the wax quickly but without rushing. You will end up with food samples that look just like the real thing. Although the experience is available for elementary school students and up, it is popular among adults who say they have always wanted to try making one.
