Shinichi Himeno
Our store is based in Tsuruga, and we sell various types of kelp, such as kikurage and tsukudani. We also give a traditional Hokuriku "oboro kelp" demonstration by a craftsman. In the demonstration, the kelp is shaved off with the edge of a knife, and we hope you will enjoy the skills shown by craftsmen with more than 30 years of experience in this field. Oboro kelp can be eaten as is, wrapped around a rice ball, or simply dipped in white water for a nourishing treat.

A powerful addition to your regular dinner table!
“Golden Dashi" is very popular among many of our repeat customers. People who use it in their daily cooking buy it in bulk. Of course, the traditional dashi kelp is also popular, and if you don't know how to eat it or how to use it, just ask us and we'll tell you what we recommend. Other processed kelp products such as natto kelp and kelp candy, as well as kikurage pickled in wasabi are so popular that people from far away come to buy them.
