We mainly serve locally caught fish. We often have grilled mackerel and other mackerel-related products in honor of the Saba Kaido (mackerel highway), as well as fresh fish to meet orders from sushi restaurants. Many kinds of fish are caught in the waters of Obama, but most of them are only available for a short period of time, so we try to stock them when they are in season. In winter, we also sell Wakasa flounder and Echizen crab.

I once left for another prefecture, but I came back to take over as the third generation owner of this restaurant. I still have a lot to learn, and I'm working hard every day, but I want to devote myself to meet the needs of our customers. Many customers come from other prefectures to buy our products, such as grilled mackerel, heshiko, and yoparai saba (“drunken” mackerel). I want to help more people learn about the local products of Obama, while taking care of our existing customers.
