Sotomo Cruise

  • Captain Takuto Takeda

I am in charge of the crew that drives and guides the boat for the Sotomo Cruise. The boat runs 3-4 times a day and takes about 1 hour. The captain of the boat also provides information depending on the weather and the time of the year. I have been to Sodomo many times, almost every day, and every time I see the rock face I feel that it is very powerful.
  • Seagulls and fish: looking at the sky
and the sea from the deck.

I would like passengers to feel the peacefulness of Obama Bay, which is quite different from the rough image of the Sea of Japan, from the boat. Seagulls sometimes come close to the boat when fishermen's boats return or when fish come to the surface. You can't always see them, so if you go out on deck when the time is right, the seagulls will come close to you. It is also fun to watch the various fish swimming in the sea from the boat. I always end up wanting to fish (laughs).
