We don't have big boats at Obama Port, but we have many fishing methods, so we get a lot of different fish. There is bottom trawling, set netting, octopus pots, and everything in between. The freshness of the fish is amazing because all the fishing is done in the immediate area on day trips. The fish of Wakasa is naturally very good. So I just prepare the fish in a way that brings out the flavor.

Since the fish is so delicious, I want many people to eat it. I think the best part of being a fishmonger is making people happy. I love working like this, so I decided to do everything I could and started a diner and a sushi restaurant here in addition to the fish shop. You can take delicious fish home or eat it here. That is Osawa's selling point.
